Founded in a hospital room by a three-time lymphoma survivor in 2017 within days of receiving a lifesaving stem cell transplant at University of Virginia Emily Couric Cancer Center, Wings Over Leukemia & Lymphoma (WOLL) is a grassroots organization which emanated from his love of live music, mouth watering buffalo wings, and the friends that carried him on his journey.

WOLL is a 501(c)(3) all volunteer non-profit charity that held its first fundraiser at Lendy’s Cafe in Virginia Beach, Virginia in 2017, raising over $20,000 that first year. Every year since, WOLL has held their annual music and wing fest in the Fall to benefit the Blood Cancer United’s Light the Night Campaign. To date, WOLL has raised over $240,000 from this annual event. 100% of the net proceeds benefit Blood Cancer United, the world’s largest voluntary non-profit health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research and providing education and patient services.
